Rocketship Restaurants was developed some 20 years ago when childhood friends, Wendy Woods and Piper Lunsford, opened Piper's in the Park (Triangle Park). Since then, with the help of partner, Stacey Poston, the Durham, NC natives have worked together to create NOSH Eclectic Foodstuffs (Duke University). With the success of their other restaurants, Stacey and Wendy went on to open NOSH @ Joe Rae Cafe (Trent Semans Center-Duke Campus), NOSH Sammiches Food Truck (All over Durham) and most recently their largest project to date, GRUB Durham (West End).
Rocketship Restaurants is proud to be a part of Durham, NC and is dedicated to offering high-quality, affordable cuisine complimented by quick, friendly service. For this group though, it is more than providing great food and service - it’s about creating community in a city they all love, and work consistently to make better.
